Computer-aided design and advanced processes—including laser welding, precision machining, and geometric control—transform metal and composites into coherent, stable, and musical instruments.
The Laser Series is the line of AluVibe snare drums made of Al-Mg-Si aluminum with longitudinal laser welding, a technology derived from the high-performance automotive industry. The production process minimizes heat input, preserves the integrity of the shell, and ensures uniform vibration along the entire circumference. The result is a light but extremely stable snare drum with precise tuning, controlled sustain, and a high dynamic response. It is not an aesthetic choice: it is a sound-oriented engineering choice.
The Steel Series is made of aluminized boron steel, processed to ensure structural rigidity and absolute vibration control. The sound is decisive and direct, with a present attack and projection designed for live performance at high sound pressure. Die-cast aluminum hardware designed in-house and rims made by us, forged from boron steel at 960°C. Steel Series is controlled power with an AluVibe identity.
The Carbon Fiber Series is AluVibe's most advanced R&D program: structural carbon fiber drums, designed without compromise and guided exclusively by acoustic response. Very high rigidity and low weight guarantee immediate attack, great definition, and control of unwanted vibrations. The shells are made by roll-wrapping on a mandrel, with a reference thickness of 3 mm and layering optimized for sound behavior. The Carbon Fiber Series is research applied to sound, in continuous evolution.
The perfect blend of visual transparency and meticulous engineering. The Eterea series introduces one-piece, cast PMMA enclosures that are seamless and thermally stabilized to ensure linear acoustics and structural stability. Each barrel is machined to seamlessly integrate with the distinctive AluVibe aluminum flange, delivering a crisp sound, a defined attack, and optimal frequency response.
